The Department of Orthotics and Prosthetics, Faculty of Health Sciences, Ondokuz Mayıs University held its 2025–2026 fall semester Student-Alumni Reunion online on Monday, December 8, 2025. Organized in collaboration with the Alumni Coordination Office, the program aimed to provide students with firsthand information on the current industry and foster sustainable communication with alumni.
The event was moderated by Lecturer Enes Dilmen. As part of the program, alumni speakers working at various institutions and practice centers in the Orthotics and Prosthetics field shared their experiences with the students.
The speakers provided information on a wide range of topics, from their educational processes and professional journeys to clinical applications and current technologies in the sector. Students had the opportunity to ask questions about both career planning and post-graduation career paths.
The event, which attracted considerable interest from attendees, was considered a significant collaboration within the department, bringing together alumni and students. The Department of Orthotics and Prosthetics will continue to aim to strengthen professional solidarity and contribute to the professional development of students through such meetings.
