The Student-Alumni Meeting event, organized by the Department of Orthotics and Prosthetics at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Ondokuz Mayıs University, was held online on March 18, 2026. The event, organized to raise awareness about post-graduation career paths and contribute to the professional development of students, featured Betül Tanrıverdi, a graduate of the 2024-2025 cohort, as a speaker. The event, held via the Google Meet platform, was moderated by Dr. Mine Pekesen Kurtça. The event covered the job search process after graduation, professional adaptation, clinical experiences, and the transition to working life as an orthotist-prosthetist. Betül Tanrıverdi shared her post-graduation experiences with the students, providing important information about the challenges encountered in adapting to working life and the factors that facilitate this process. The importance of knowledge and skills acquired during undergraduate education in professional life was also emphasized. In the interactive part of the event, students had the opportunity to ask the alumna questions directly. The presentations, particularly those on internship processes, professional development paths, and career planning, were followed with great interest by the students. At the event, which coincided with the anniversary of the March 18th Çanakkale Victory, the values embodied by this significant day were emphasized in the opening speech, and the importance of professional responsibility and contributing to society was highlighted.
